ANDREAS AMBLE

I'm 26 years old, from Norway, a tiny town called Dombås, but currently living in Oslo. I started skiing when I was 2 years old, started on twintips in 2000, and then later on freeride a 2 years later. I guess I'm almost 50/50 park and powder, but my perfect winter-day is a combination of 1 meter fresh powder snow, steep and fun mountain-sides and a pair of fat rockerskis! Then again: I also love doing laps in the park, just cruising!

After I quit racing my relationship towards skiing has been dedicated, but relaxed. I've spent a lot of time in Whistler, but most of my time has been spent in Norway. The last 4 years in the olympic town of Lillehammer, but now I'm living in Oslo, working as an art-director and project manager at a PR and Web-company.

I've worked as a coach on several occasions, with both Nixon, Quiksilver, and now with Mitch. I first met them in 2008 in Hemsedal, and now we are going to work together.
